Poem Reflection

A living piece from the World Poetry Hub library — written to be read, heard, shared, and remembered.

Unbelievably, I am gifted. Not because I didn’t know— but because I learned to believe in myself. Our Father, who art in heaven— thank You for every blessing. Numbers can’t count them. Life itself outnumbers them all. I cannot begin to count the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years… If I wanted infinity or immortality, it is already within my reach. I once wanted to ask You: Why the hardship? Why the struggle? Why can’t life be simpler? But now I see— everything is laid out by Your Grand Design. There is no fear in it, or in me. No stopping me— only becoming who I’m meant to be. Before all— indefinitely magnificent being— I am Your child indeed. Fated. Predestined. Prominent. Promising. I wanted to curse You for the trouble… but I can only praise You. Holy be Thy Name. You are the Greatest. Unapologetically, I praise Thee. — E.M.SR.
