Poem Reflection

A living piece from the World Poetry Hub library — written to be read, heard, shared, and remembered.

It’s a new year, I’m on to better things— new styles, new vibes, you could say I’m out the chain. A little bit wild, but I’m still down, a little bit calm when I choose to come around. Don’t let the good look fool you, or the settled approach mislead you, or deceive you. A couple G’s is not what I’m after— but a couple million and a world full of laughter. Go’head and label me a missionary, a visionary— one out of many homies that’s out to make a little more, you see, by any means necessary… if you know what I mean. — E.M.SR.
